Fruit Of Disciples
Mt 28: 18-20

I. Background
   A. What Gods first command to man ? Gen 1: 27-28
   B. What was God's first command to Noah after God cleansed the Earth ? Gen 9:1
   C. God told both to reproduce and fill the Earth
   D. In the N.T. God commands us to reproduce spiritually ( make disciples ) - Mt 28:18-20
   E. We must understand the concept of reproduction to be a Disciple of the Lord
   F. Remember every soul will be discipled by Satan or the Lord - we can make a difference

II. Three Things Required For Reproduction
   A. Partnership - Jn 15
      i) physical kingdom requires a male and female
      ii) spiritual kingdom : the Lord is the vine ; we are the branches
      iii) the Lord says  " remain or abide " in him - vs 5-6
      iv) we are in him - he is in us ( relationship )
   B. Be In Good Health / Live Balanced Life - Mt 4
      i) physical kingdom requires that the male and female are in healthy conditions
      ii) spiritual kingdom : parable of sower , seed , and the soil
      iii) three things that keep the seed ( word ) from growing
         - worries of the world
         - desire for wealth
         - worldly ties to this world
      iv) we can't disciple others if we are a friend of this world
   C. Maturity
      i) physical kingdom requires male and female to reach a certain maturity before reproduction
      ii) spiritual kingdom : until we reach a maturity or understanding we will not disciple others
      iii) Paul told the Corinthians that 5 years after their conversion that they were not mature
      iv) same is true in our congregations today
      v) II Tim 2:2 teach people to be disciples that they will teach others

III. Take Homes
   A. When we learn the concept of being a Disciple our lives become like our Lord
   B. And the Lord Church grows in love , joy , and number
