I. Observations about Choices

A. Since we are made in God's image we can make decisions on our own - Gen 1:26

B. Bad decisions can change our lives from Light to Dark – Luke 11:35

C. Decisions are Pegs on which our Lives hang - Deut 30: 15-20

D. Decisions determine our character more than our Talents do -Phil 1:10

II. Examples of Good Decisions

A. By faith Abraham left his country as God directed him- Gen 12:1-4

B. By faith Moses suffered with God's people rather than enjoy“sin for a season " - Heb 11: 24

C. Joshua chose God over pagan gods - Joshua 24: 14-15

D. Paul chose Christ over Judaism - Acts 26:19

III. Guidelines for Making Good Decisions

A. Are there Biblical principles to help make the decision?

B. Are you praying for God to help you make the right decision?

C. Have you discussed the problem with more experienced Christians?

D. How will this decision impact others?

E. Are you viewing this for the moment or in view of eternity?
