II. Daniel Was A Young Man Of Courage - Dan 1
A. He was taken by Nebuchadnezzar as a slave in 605 BC when Jerusalem
was destroyed
B. They took 70 boys ( 14-17 years of age ) to learn the Chaldean ways -
Jewish on the outside / Chaldean on the inside
C. They were made eunuchs
D. The King demanded that they eat the food offered to false gods to show
they served them
E. Of the 70 - Daniel , Shadrach , Meshach , and Abed-Nego refused
F. Daniel " purposed in his heart " not to violate God by eating the food
III. Attributes Of Daniel
