NEWS AND PRAYER REQUESTS
TIM UPDATE : Tim is in NIH; cells are being taken out of tumors and blood and he will know how effective they are in growing the cells in 2-3 weeks. Margaret, Tim's Mom, is with him at this time. Please pray for The George Family as they await the results in this endeavor. Pray for Tim's healing.
DAN CARSON has had several very difficult weeks with his breathing. Please keep Dan and Carmen in prayer as they deal with this chronic illness.
REBBA HARRIS' recovery from recent surgery to remove a benign tumor from her colon is right on track and at this rate of progress she will be able to return to work in a few weeks as scheduled.
CARMEN CISNEROS needs prayers for healing of her shoulder.
GEORGE and VIRGIE NANTZ need prayers for improved health. Virgie is recuperating from a broken leg and George is under Hospice Care for lung Cancer.
MIKE DEMAREE who had surgery for a torn Rotator Cuff is recovering nicely from surgery. Please pray for continued healing.
JIM DAVIS, needs prayers for continued healing of his broken ankle.
JOE TAYLOR, prayers for continued healing from major heart surgery.
SYLVIA RIOS , Adrian Brealey's Grandmother who has lung cancer which has spread to the lining of her heart needs prayers for healing. Please pray strength for Sylvia's family during this difficult time.
DEE and DEBBIE STARR both would like prayers for strength and
encouragement.
LOU JEANE PAYNE needs prayers for healing. One of the medications she takes makes her dizzy.
PRAYERS FOR TRAVELERS: The Milner's, Cobb's, Randolph's, Ash's and others of whom we may not know. Pray for their safe return.
PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS: Charles Johnston, Adrian Brealey,
Trey Loetscher, Tennille Emmsley and Mindy Cotton. Pray for our military that so faithfully do their duty; pray for healing for those recovering from wounds, emotionally and physically. Pray for wisdom for the President as he works on a possible timeline for withdrawal of our troops from Iraq .

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY . We will study Lesson 19 in the Study of the book of 1st Corinthians. A video presentation by Abe Lincoln will be
followed by a summary and class discussion. Instructor will be
Duane Tolbertson, at 7 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Ladies Class: The next Ladies Study Group meeting will meet Tuesday,
September 9 th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. All Ladies are encouraged to attend these enriching lessons led by Betty Randolph and Tricia Cobb. The following week on Tuesday, Sept. 16 th , the Ladies will meet for a Social gathering to reveal their Secret Sister's.
Our Next Potluck will be Sunday November 9 th . We are collecting funds from Church Members to have the main entree and side dishes catered to give the Ladies a break from cooking. The Ladies will provide Desserts. Contact Tricia Cobb to submit your donation.
September 19 th is the 31 st annual Mt. Palomar Ladies Retreat. The theme is “Bitten By The Love Bug.” Lessons will be taken from I Corinthians 13:4-13. It is an awesome and uplifting experience. Please pick up a registration form in the foyer.
